When you feel inner emptiness in a world chasing after more, know there’s a deeper purpose for you.
If you’re mourning in times when society often looks away, solace is coming your way.
Stay humble even when arrogance seems to be rewarded; your creator recognizes your worth.
If you yearn for justice in an age of inequality, you’ll find fulfillment.
Show mercy, especially when indifference is all around; and you’ll be met with kindness.
If you keep your intentions pure amidst skepticism, you’ll see the genuine good.
Be a peacemaker in this era of conflicts; and you’ll be a beacon of hope.
And if you’re ever criticized or pushed aside for doing what’s right, remember your strength is timeless.
This was based on a section of the Bible known as “The Beatitudes.” Below is the original:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
